| Ok folks, something was brought to my attention, and it was an easy decision to go right to the boards with it. I have been asked to make a new rule regarding any pictures used in Signatures and Avatars. The request for the rule to prohibit fast flashing pictures due to the fact that at least one of our members (that I'm aware of) is prone to siezures. Anyone who has a lick of sense knows that flashing lights, quick changing pictures, or strobes can set off a siezure.
That being said, from this moment on, there is to be absolutely NO pictures that flash, NO pictures that contain animations that sparkle or otherwise fit the premise of the animated photo, contained in an Avatar and/or Signatures. This request was put to me by one of our administrators. So, if for any reason you think a photo might be a problem then bring it to the attention of one of the Admins. If you are not familiar with exactly who those Administrators are simply click the button for Usergroups and then click administrator. It will give you the list of us. If I see an animated .gif that may be an issue, I will remove it without notice. | OK let get it out of the way are mine banned? I know I have a bright flashing one before but the ones I have now don't flash fast and the twinkle in my avii is not that bad but if its banned I have no problem ~really likes her siggy an avii~ change it. Question do bright colors do the same like green, cyan and magenta are some examples of the colors I am talking about | |

| I am not sure about that siggy. It seems ok but the bright flash at the end Is a little questionable. I can't watch it enough to really make a judment call on it. As I said the bright flash at the end dose cause a sight reaction weather after regular exsposer It would cause a more signifcant reaction I am not sure. As I said I can't watch it long enough to find out. I would rather be safe then sorry when it comes to these things So sence there is a slight reaction to It I would ask it be changed to be on the safe side. Thanks | |
