Lord Rokhan
The Lay of a Dead Soul
The road was broken, the lamp light dim,
The traveler walks the road on a whim;
He lives for hate, a hate for all,
The feeling holds his fall;
His dead soul, the one that’s haunts him still,
Is held to his hart, like the Void to the chill.
Good will for him has yet to be obtained,
What is there is that which has been gained;
His life has no meaning but that, which he has given it,
The charge to walk the road of eternity, a forfeit;
He bears the road like the Cross,
The worlds clings to his heals, the dirt, grime and moss.
The traveler hums a tune of grief, an ode to his true melancholy,
He knows not why he hums yet he feels a pull at his folly;
Followers of the world walk a lonesome road,
Their minds are set in a neutral mode;
They walk a road of fleeting time,
As they walk in silence they look with their eyes and see not, they are mine.
I see the world as they do, yet I am not limited to sight,
I hear, smell, taste, and feel the world and they take flight;
Their haste is mirrored by mine, and mine alone,
I seek their lacking souls to replace my bones;
I am whole and still I lack a foundation for judgment,
I have a dead soul and it is adamant.

Yes well, I wrote this poem thingy for schoolio and i figured i could get your thoughts and coments on it. Be wary thow, for if you look for logic or meaning you are flawed. I suposs for a lay this is realitivly short but so be it. Im pretty burnt out and this poemthingy may or may not be any good but as you will squire.
