General Description: Wears dark black, tight fitting clothing. She has a utility belt and a pack in which she carries her supplies in. She usually travels light and only carries things that are absolutely necessary to her mission. She also wears a gold ring with strange markings on her left index finger (passed down from her family).
Weapons and Equipment: Eve has a small arsenal of thieves’ tools at her disposal, including lock picks and lock pick gun, a variety of special arrows with numerous purposes, flash bombs, a dagger given to her by her father (supposedly passed down through the family as well), wall climbing gloves and apparel.
Computer gear includes: PDA bracer with Infrared, blue-tooth and GPS satellite systems, microscopic tracer bugs, Micro camera, and various of code breaker programs that are downloaded into her PDA.
History: Eve, along with her twin brother Adam, was born to Jason and Denise Redfield
Adam has been missing since their 16th birthday.
Eve is rarely seen, never caught and capable of breaking into the most ingeniously secured places. Her stealth capabilities also allow her to past any guard, undetected. Eve has been recently recruited by the Agency for her knowledge of computers and her first rate expertise in thievery. She is confident around other members, both because of her family heritage and the need for her talents. Eve can be a bit boisterous; however, she can be very secretive about her family life. She is a computer expert and excels in information gathering. Eve is a consummate professional and she will take on any task assigned to her without hesitation. At times she can also come across as condescending and has a tendency to talk down to those she deems inferior to herself, but when your earn her trust she can be a valuable ally.

General Description: A strong man, with a thick chest and powerful arms, a sign of his struggle through the ranks of various military organisations in an effort to master himself, to know his absolute limits. The lines and angles of his face appear as exact as if they'd been machine-tooled; his mouth, jaw and forehead seem hard enough to have been cut from metal. Blonde hair uncompromisingly cut spreads stiffly across his scalp....all the finest effects of genetic engineering. The sunglasses he wears only make him look stronger. He wears common black military clothing as opposed to regular researcher regalia, finding the black, tough material more comforting than white coats and suits. He wears a military belt, containing pouches carrying all manner of electronic devices, medical equipment and drugs, ammunition clips, and, of course, his pride and joy, a fully restored .50mm Magnum, found long ago in a trunk full of his great-great grandfather's belongings.

Weapons and Equipment: Aside from the .50mm Magnum, with three full spare clips, on his right hip, Wesker also carries a large military survival knife on his left hip. In a pouch directly before the knife, he carries a modified PDA, containing most of the information he would ever need on the Umbrella Corporation, both old and new. He also carries another PDA in the pouch directly before his sidearm, containing all of his records and data for his former organisation, Data Aquisition and Records for the US Government. In pouches along the small of his back, and the pouches in his military-style outfit, he carries spare power units for his dual PDA's, a full medical kit, GPS tracker/navigator, and an access mechanism that can allow him entry to most any section of Umbrella and the US Government bases. He holds other electronic and medical equipment equipment in his personal quarters, giving rise to the rumour that he never sleeps....
History: With instant access to databases on personnel, current and past experiments, technology, trade deals, outside contractors, opposing groups and the like, some would say that there is nothing Wesker would not know. Most would call him Data Aquisition and Records Division personified. As the US Government Director of DAR, and now newly appointed Head Researcher for Umbrella, Wesker is privy to all forms of data and records held by both organisations, and with his strong military background, he became the perfect candidate for Umbrella, the shady rumours aside. He is never seen without his sunglasses firmly fitted to his face, and the rumours spread from this.
The reasons for his sunglasses are much talked about wherever the name Wesker has been known. Some say it is sentiment, that the glasses are the exact pair worn by his ancestor, the original Albert Wesker, found by the current Albert Wesker in the same trunk he found his firearm. Others claim that the glasses are to cover his eyes simply for the secret work done beneath, and these rumours give rise to Wesker's infamy. These rumours claim that Dr. Wesker VI has gone far past such minor upgrades as most humans to his own body, claiming hips, knees and shoulders have been taken apart and reinforced to double or even triple the effective strength of his muscles; or that struts to support and shield his spine were installed in his back; or that another shield was molded over his ribs; or that a thin, hard plate was set under his shoulder blades to anchor and reinforce his arms, protect his heart and lungs - and to hold the power supply and computer that would become part of his identity. Some even claim that he went further still, having his eyes removed and fitted with a marvel of mirco-engineering and processing, tiny prostheses linked directly to his central nervous system via his optic nerves, prostheses enabling him to read electromagnetic spectra relevant to such diverse applications as alarm systems and computer circuitry, to human electro-aural spectra.....the ultimate lie/emotion detector, and wears the famous shades to cover this work; that he also had implants installed in his brain: not one electrode but several, that when activated by himself or his computer, could increase his strength and speed, limit his need for rest, dull or completely neutralise pain, hunger, and fatigue, basically turn him into something far more powerful than any mere human. Making cyborgs isn't easy, even if the subject is doing so voluntarily. Technicians and surgical experts have to be assembled to remake and even train the subject once the work is completed, and with a name as well known as Wesker, the entire world would be ravening for such rumours to be confirmed, and the world would pay handsomely for it. Yet, despite the fame of the subject, rumours are all they have ever remained. No-one knows for certain if Dr. Wesker VI has transformed himself into the perfect superhuman machine, for no surgeon or technician can be found to confirm it absolutely. All records of any work done, if any were done, have disappeared long ago, and Wesker has become the stuff of legend, rumoured as being the most perfect and successfully designed and built cyborg in human history.
Despite, or maybe due to, these rumours, Wesker has forged ahead in both the military, and the US Government, to take his newly assigned post as Umbrella's Head Researcher. His past is shrouded in rumour and mystery, and most of his personal file is locked behind the highest level of classification. This gives rise also to many a whispered statement that Wesker has taken this new position with Umbrella for his own secret and personal motives. His stated description is to find workable samples of the old virus strains and re-work them into something far greater than the old Umbrella had dreamed of. After their collapse due to the Racoon City incident, Umbrella limited it's actions greatly, placed under indefinite suspension of business decree by the Government. ince their re-emergence, the Government decided they needed an inside man to watch Umbrella closely, and Wesker volunteered for the job. His willingness to undertake the assignment was scrutinised by the Government, but they figured Wesker was their best bet, sending in another with him to watch his movements.....just in case....

Background: Evangeline is the work of Dr. Ezekiel Rheinhart. Having collected DNA samples from Alice, Leon Kennedy and Jack Krauser, Rheinhart combined the samples and injected them into a host egg. Thus creating Evangeline. During her 9 month incubation Evangeline's host womb was kept in a secret Umbrella facility. Upon her birth, Evangeline's host womb was killed and Evangeline was place with an Umbrella foster home. When she was 2 the Gerhardt's adopted her and she never knew any other parents. When Evangeline graduated high school she immediately joined the police force.
Over the next 5 years Evangeline worked her ass off to become the best STARS sharpshooter alive. Once word of her prowess with a rifle got around Evangeline was recruited into the United States Secret Service.
Little did she know that the Directors true reason for recruiting her was because he'd found out about Evangeline's real beginnings. Evangeline worked at her job quietly and diligently. It wasn't until her 24th birthday that Evangeline found out about her true heritage and her entire world fell apart.
She'd been sent on a job to protect one Dr. Rheinhart, the very man that had created her. Dr. Rheinhart never had been the type to keep his mouth shut about his work and he spilled the beans to Evangeline at the first opportunity. Faced with irrefutible evidence Evangeline confronted her parents and they couldn't deny it.
One week later Evangeline left the Secret Service and joined the Marines. She's been working with Wesker ever since.

Hey mal, I'd love to join and I'm a big resident evil fan. The story seems slightly confusing though as I've not had time to read it all, is it set in a labortaory or the city? I'd like to play as a human just wanting to survive the nightmare...

Pete, we'd love for you to join in. Right now everything is taking place on the surface. This all takes place 100 years after the RE games. I suggest you read all the posts, and the guidelines that I have set. There aren't any creatures or monsters yet, with the exception of what Devon, Eve, and Davis come across right now. Don't worry, soon there will be plenty. Think of a profile and what not. Most of the action as far as creatures go will be around mine and Mal's characters, so once Devon and his little group reaches the inside of Raccoon city then it will be on like donkey kong because there will be zombies and shit that they will come across. But please feel free to get involved.

Weapons and Equipment: Alex is dressed in combats with a flak jacket. He has a knife in a sheath at his left ankle, a handgun with a full clip at his hip. His main weapon which is slung across his back when not in use is his M16A3 sniper rifle. He also has nightvision goggles.

History: Alex Brown always wanted to be in the armed forces since he was a young boy. His father and his grandfather both served in the marines and acted as his role models in his career path. Alex joined up when he was 17 and quickly rose to the position of Corporal. He was chosen to be stationed at the ruins of Raccoon city when the mysterious Albert Wesker hand picked his squad to act under him.
Alex knows little of the City's past, any rumor of zombies and viral outbreaks just makes him laugh and dismiss it as the superstitious ramblings of their ancestors. Though what he will se in the next 24 hours might change his mind dramatically...

We'll be looking for the blueprints of the old RPD Headquarters, looking for the original entrance into the Hive through the S.T.A.R.S. basement, or some such.
Anyways, we'll be heading into the Hive that way, so if you feel up to the challenge, you are more than welcome to come along with us, with or without your squad, that's up to you. Depends how many charries you want to play at one time. Let me know what you feel up to, and we'll hammer out the details.

Born with the name, Pat, she has never known anything else other than 'Pet'. Pet had never known heard or seen Dr. Weskler until an unfortunate visit. At the age of 5, her mother had brought her like so many other times for a visit. But visitors were not allowed in the Umbrella labs. Pets' father, an assistant of Dr. Weskler, tried to hide them as he had done so many times before. But they were soon discovered and both parents killed, executional style.

Dr. Weskler decided that he had his own demented plans for her. Thus renaming her 'PET'. She would be his own 'Potiential Experimental Theory'. Taking her under his wing, he gained her confidence. Then came the injections. He would reassure her that this would be prevention against harmful bacteria and disease. By implanting the T-virus into her as a child, he would enjoy the mutation. But none came, therefore he would change his formula from time to time. But to the human eyes, this was not aging her as he hoped for. It accually slowed her aging process down dramatically. Pet vaguely remembers a child being born in the lab long ago, but has never known who or what became of it.

Helping him clean up and keep files, she soon discovered what had become of her parents long ago. Knowing that she could not confront him, she fled the labs in fear the same fate would happen to her. Taking refuge with mountaineers, she was taught the olden ways in self defense. Her new mentor blessed her with her trusty sword that never leaves her side. She has come to terms with what happened to her, but vows revenge against Dr. Weskler.

Devon L. Kennedy

History: Devon's childhood is mostly a mystery to him. He does not have many memories of his mother, but vaguely remembers his father. On many occasions those memories would cause him to black out and lose chunks of time. There were other memories. Memories of his father's face above his own. A white surgeon's mask covering his father's mouth and nose. And his father's voice resounding inside his ears, telling him that everything would be ok, and that the injections would not hurt. There were memories of tests that he was put through by his dad. Each memory more vague then the previous one. After his father died Devon joined the Marine Corp, enrolled in the Officer schooling and eventually achieved the Rank of Colonel. He was recognized quickly as one of their expert marksmen. He completely annihilated records, and to this day still holds the majority of them in the Marines. Although, he didn't stay at that rank long due to an altercation with a superior officer which led to 2 nights in the brig for Devon, and a 2 week stay at the hospital for the other officer, Devon was still kept on in an advisory position because of his extensive knowledge in warfare. After that brief stint, he was promoted to his current rank, and picked up by the resistance. He quickly rose through the ranks in the Resistance, and is now sent on every single mission of the highest importance against Umbrella Corp. Three years after his recruitment, he was tasked with going through all of his father's files, and given the truth behind his father's research. Deep in his father's files there is a test subject that he labeled only as subject "D". In this file, were numerous accounts of the subject's reactions to both the "T" & "G" viruses. Accounts of how his body assimilated to them, and changed them for his own benefit. There in the pages sat the exact specimen Umbrella had been looking for. But neither Umbrella, or the Resistance, nor Devon knew the truth behind Subject "D". The only records of it, or Devon's father's work, securely lies with Devon. Secrets, he swore to keep along time ago...

Ok, listen. In the guidelines I know I specifically said that any character that was going to be other then "Human" was going to be at MY approval. I alreayd told Cam she needed to change her shit. I'm telling you the same Cas. If you want your character to be a clone, cool, but you need to give up more information, such as who the fuck she is, and sorry, but that time shifter gun? Gotta go. I said that any futuristic weapons would also be at my approval. I didn't get any emails from you or had anyone tell me you wanted me to email you to discuss your new character. I want you to play, don't get me wrong, but there is only one character who is this shrouded in mystery, and yes, it happens to be my main character. Davis is a regular ole human, just like Eve. No more supernatural shit. Cloning is definitely feesable in the furture, but you have too much stuff that I didn't want, and purposely set the guidelines like I did. There wasn't going to be any supernatural stuff at all. And the magic sword? Same thing, has got to go. Only STANDARD weaponry. The high tech bows, and arrows is cool. Keep those. There is no magic in this storyline. The sniper rifle, good to go. The assassin bit is good, but the never missing? Even Wesker will miss, as will Evangeline. Other then all of that, it is fine. I do not want an ass ton of altered humans in this thread. This is after all set from the games, where all of the heroes were regular HUMANS. So lets get this fixed and get to RP'ing! Thanks Cas, and sorry I had to get at you on the boards, but if I emailed your hotmail accounts from my email on the ship it would go to your junk mail and I can't take the chance that you wouldn't get this.

General Description: Kai is small and skinny and has a talent for hiding. She's quiet and stealthy and can disappear in a heartbeat. Her metallic purple eyes are cold and distant, yet accutely aware to her surroundings. She is an excellent scavenger and has learned she can eat almost anything within reason. Kai never goes anywhere without her teddy, named Buddy. A stuffed St Bernard dog that she's had since she was a baby.
History: Kai parents were in the resistance when Kai was born. She was kept close for protection from the very beginning and so when they were killed by the nasty's as she knows them, she was right there. Kai was 5 when they died. They would have killed her too, save for a hole in the ground that led Kai into the sewers. She's been hiding down there ever since and so far as evaded the nasty's and the soldiors alike. Her faithful stuffed dog Bussy is her only companion and friend and she takes him everywhere with her. Kai has no illusions as to her situation and has become quite mature for her age. The nasty's are killers and they eat anything they can catch. From her first day inthe sewers, Kai learned how to disappear for they often followed her down there, trying to catch her, but she always found a hole too small for them to get through and managed her escape. Her home became a tiny 4x6 junction box where she's lived since her parents were killed. Kai filled it with anything and everything she could use and learned how to catch rats and other such sewer creatures so she could eat and the rest, she scavenged from top side. She raided dead soldiors for anything she could use, namely their kevlar to protect her tiny home and torches, batteries and light sticks. The nasty's often creep along the sewer lines now, but so far, she's managed to avoid them, but now she has to go topside again to find food and new things to add to her home.

If you have any problems with it NOT opening in Windows media player follow these directions:

Open Windows Media Player.
Click Tools, then Options.
Click the Security Tab.
Make sure that the Run Script Commands When Present is checked (selected).
Under the File Types Tab, go the the bottom and select all.
Press Apply, then OK, and then Close Windows Media Player. Click the jukebox and it should work now.
